A man in his 20s is in stable condition after being airlifted to hospital following a de-icing accident at Pearson International airport.
The incident occurred Sunday morning at the airport's de-icing facility when a truck flipped over.
Peel region police say the man airlifted to hospital was driving the de-icing vehicle, while a second airport employee was also injured and taken to a nearby hospital.
Const. Fiona Thivierge says the driver is in stable condition and is expected to recover, while the second man was hospitalized with minor injuries.
She says the Ministry of Labour is investigating.
The airport says the incident didn't delay any flights.
