Provincial police say three people are facing murder charges in the death of a man following an altercation at a home in Wikwemikong, Ont.

Police say Percy Simon, 33, of Wikwemikong, died as a result of the incident on Sunday.

Two Wikwemikong residents — Robert Travis Wemigwans, 31, and 43-year-old Tammy Trudeau — and Byron Kagige, 56, of Hamilton, are charged with second-degree murder.

Police say all three are being held for a bail hearing in Gore Bay on May 25.

The OPP and the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service say the investigation continues in the Manitoulin Island community.
