Three people are in custody and an investigation is underway after shots were fired in Ottawa on Saturday morning.

Police say a person was at a house party at a home when he was hit in the face with a beer bottle and robbed.

Duty Insp. Mike Maloney says shots were then fired outside of the home when the victim ran out of the house.

Maloney says he wasn't hit, but there was evidence of gunfire in the area.

Three people — one of them a minor — were arrested at an apartment building across the street from the where the robbery and assault took place.

Maloney says police do not believe there are any other suspects at large.
