Four people are hurt after a head-on crash between a Toronto transit bus and streetcar.

Police say the two vehicles collided around 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the city's east end (at Danforth Avenue and Main Street).

They say the streetcar derailed and the area was immediately closed to traffic.

The Toronto Transit Commission says four people, including the bus driver, suffered minor injuries after earlier saying five had been hurt.

Several transit routes have been redirected.
