An Elliot Lake, Ont., man is facing charges following an alleged sexual assault on an eight-year-old girl.
Provincial police say officers called to an Elliot Lake hospital on Saturday were told the girl had been sexually assaulted by a man.
A 22-year-old is charged with sexual assault on a person under 16, sexual interference with a person under 16, and sexual exploitation.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 4.
