Eric Gelinas scored two power-play goals as the Laval Rocket held on to beat the Belleville Senators 4-3 on Thursday in American Hockey League play.
Gelinas' second goal of the game came at 5:06 of the third period and gave the Rocket (13-14-7) a 4-1 lead.
Niki Petti and Kyle Baun also scored for Laval, which got a 23-save outing from Michael McNiven.
Max McCormick, Jim O'Brien and Jack Rodewald supplied the offence for the Senators (12-17-3).
Andrew Hammond stopped 35-of-39 shots in a losing cause.
The Rocket went 2 for 8 on the power play while Belleville scored once on four chances with the man advantage
