Police in Guelph, Ont., say they've charged a man with possessing and distributing child porn after receiving a "cyber tip" from the U.S.

Police say they searched a home in the city's north end Wednesday morning and seized electronic devices.

They say they've charged a 42-year-old Guelph man with possessing, distributing and accessing child pornography.

The accused, whose name hasn't been released, is scheduled to appear in court in September.
