A 78-year-old Kingston man is facing sexual assault and child pornography charges in connection with alleged incidents involving a teenaged girl.
Kingston police allege that a man took sexually explicit photographs of an underaged teenager over an extended period of time last year, and that the man also engaged in sexual activity with the girl.
Police say the man came into contact with the victim through his ownership and operation of a dog care kennel on Kingston's east side.
David Sly is charged with two counts of sexual assault as well as sexual exploitation, producing, possessing and making available child pornography and accessing child pornography.
He was released from custody with a future court date and police say he must abide by certain conditions to protect the victim and the public.
