A 61-year-old Kitchener man has been charged with second-degree murder in a missing person's case.
Waterloo Regional Police say the investigation into the disappearance of Kate Lynn Reid is now being treated as a homicide investigation.
The man will make a video court appearance today to face the murder charge.
Police say they made the arrest with help from the Toronto Police Service.
Police say the investigation into the circumstances surrounding Reid's disappearance and presumed death is ongoing.
