Two Hamilton residents are facing charges in the theft of lottery tickets from a Burlington, Ont., convenience store.
Provincial police say the store operators determined in August that several packages of lottery tickets were missing from their inventory.
Investigators say it was determined that the tickets had been stolen.
A 44-year-old man was arrested on Nov. 17 and charged with possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
Police say a 26-year-old woman was arrested on Dec. 3, and has been charged with theft under $5,000.
Both accused are scheduled to appear in court in Hamilton on Jan. 15, 2016.
