Police say a 39-year-old man has been charged in an alleged crime spree west of Hamilton.
OPP say they linked a single suspect to a fire that destroyed a home and several vehicles in Brant County Saturday morning, as well as several break-ins and a gas station robbery that occurred shortly afterward.
They say officers made the arrest after stopping an alleged stolen vehicle around 6 a.m.
Andrew Rentel of no fixed address is charged with dangerous driving, breaking and entering, arson and failing to stop for police.
He is being held until a bail hearing scheduled for Monday afternoon.
