Montreal police are looking for a pickup truck they say was stolen in Ontario and allegedly involved in a hit-and-run that killed a 79-year-old woman in the city on Sunday.
The vehicle is a white or silver 2012 Chevrolet Silverado with Ontario licence plate, AD13323, and the name "ELEVATOR 1 INC" in red letters on the side.
Montreal police say the vehicle was stolen in Ontario between Sept. 20-22.
The victim was struck near the corner of St-Urbain Street and Mont-Royal Avenue in the city's Plateau Mont-Royal district.
Her death was pronounced later in hospital.
Witnesses told police the stolen vehicle appeared to have damage on the driver's side door.
