Petrus Palmu scored his 11th goal of the season to break a third-period tie as the Owen Sound Attack downed the visiting Guelph Storm 5-2 on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Maksim Sushko, Zachary Roberts, Nick Pryce and Nick Suzuki also scored for the Attack (7-6-0), who got a 30-save performance from Michael McNiven.

Albert Michnac and Matt Hotchkiss scored for the Storm (5-7-2) to make it a 2-2 game after 40 minutes.

Anthony Popovich stopped 35-of-39 shots in a losing cause.

Owen Sound went 0 for 5 on the power play while Guelph scored once on four chances with the man advantage.
