A 15-year-old boy is dead after a stabbing in the south of Montreal on Friday night.
Montreal police say the youth was stabbed at least once after several individuals began fighting in Verdun just before 11 p.m.
The teen was taken to hospital where he later died.
A 16-year-old male suspect is in custody and police say he will likely be charged in youth court early next week.
Investigators have recovered a weapon.
