Provincial police say a 28-year-old man is facing charges after a car went into a guardrail in Georgian Bluffs, Ont.

They say the driver was arrested on suspicion of impaired driving Friday evening by police from nearby Owen Sound, Ont., and handed over to OPP when they arrived at the scene.

Investigators say breath tests were conducted, and the results indicated a blood alcohol content of more than three times the legal limit.

An Owen Sound man is charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and over 80 milligrams.

He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on Oct. 27.
