A woman's body has been found at an elementary school in southern Ontario.
The body was discovered at about 6:45 a.m. Friday by an employee at the school (Maple Lane Public School) in Tillsonburg, southeast of London.
Provincial police have not released any further details but say the woman lived in the neighbourhood.
Const. Stacey Culbert says police will be looking at all factors that may be involved in the incident, including the bitterly cold weather.
Meanwhile, police are urging residents to check on any young and elderly family members who may be at risk due to the extreme cold temperatures.
