A 28-year-old man is in hospital after being shot in the throat in downtown Ottawa Friday night.
Police say the victim was talking to a woman at the corner of York Street and Beausoleil Drive just before 10:30 p.m., when the unidentified suspect walked up and shot him.
Police say the man is in stable condition in hospital while the suspect remains at large.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Ottawa Police Guns and Gangs Unit.
