Peel Regional Police are warning the public after several break-ins, including one involving an alleged sexual assault, occurred in the Mississauga area.

They say five incidents have been reported between July 23 and Sept. 2 when the suspect either tried or gained access into homes to commit alleged indecent acts.

They say the most recent incident happened early Tuesday when a female was allegedly sexually assaulted at a residence (on Forestwood Drive).

The suspect is described as male, dark skinned, possibly South Asian, six feet two inches tall and clean shaven.

He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark grey sweat pants with a double white stripe down either side.

Police are asking residents to keep all doors and windows closed and securely locked at all times in the wake of the incidents.
