The victim of a fatal shooting in north Toronto has been identified.
Police say Danovan Anthony Lodge, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene after officers responded to reports of gunshots on Tuesday (in the area of Allen Road and Lawrence Avenue West).
Paramedics at the scene said the victim suffered an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
A post-mortem examination was scheduled for Wednesday.
The shooting is Toronto's third homicide of the year.
