Police in Belleville, Ont., say 11 people are facing drug charges after a raid on a local home.

Police provided few details, but said they searched a home in the city's east end on Thursday afternoon.

They say the 11 arrests came as a result of that search.

Seven people have been released pending future court appearances, while four remain in custody.

Police did not release the names of the accused or the number of charges they face, but said counts against them range from possession for the purpose of trafficking to possession of the proceeds of crime.
