Toronto police say a suspect wanted for first degree murder in the city's latest homicide is now in custody.
They say 51-year old Domenico Scopelliti turned himself in after he was named as a suspect in the death of an 87-year old man in a central Toronto neighbourhood Friday afternoon.
Police didn't confirm reports the victim was shot, saying only that an autopsy would be done Saturday to determine cause of death.
The victim's identity was being withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
While he remained at large, police had said that Scopelliti was considered armed and dangerous.
