Provincial police are continuing a standoff with a man inside a house near Pembroke, Ont.
Const. Janice Sawbridge says the incident began around 11 p.m. Thursday and that officers, including a tactical team, are outside the Laurentian Valley home.
She says there is a possible public safety risk in the immediate vicinity of the residence but wouldn't elaborate.
Police are asking residents to stay away from the home while the situation continues.
