Homicide detectives have taken over the investigation into the death of a man whose body was found in Vaughan, north of Toronto.

Police say the body was found shortly after noon Wednesday in an area just off Highway 7 near Keele Street.

They say investigators suspect foul play after seeing trauma on the body.

An autopsy is planned today and the investigation continues.
