A 30-year-old Quebec man is facing charges in a string of bank robberies across Ontario.
Police say the eight robberies began Aug. 25 in Kingston, Ont.
Other robberies occurred at banks in the Ontario communities of Richmond Hill, Napanee, Oshawa, Trenton, Toronto, and Bowmanville, with last in Cobourg on Dec. 16.
Tristan Marois Drouin of Gatineau is charged with eight counts of armed robbery.
The investigation involved Ontario Provincial Police, and forces from Durham Region, Toronto, York Region, Kingston and Cobourg.
