Saskatchewan Roughriders linebacker Marvin Golding has been suspended for two games for testing positive for a banned substance.

Golding tested positive for dehydrochlormethyltestosterone, an anabolic steroid. It's Golding's first violation of the joint drug policy of the CFL and CFLPA.

The suspension will come into effect once Golding is next eligible to play a regular season game.

Golding made eight appearances with Saskatchewan last season, recording one special-team tackle.
