Ontario's police watchdog is investigating a weekend crash between a police cruiser and a motorcycle in Niagara Falls that injured a 51-year-old man.
The Special Investigations Unit says the collision took place at an intersection on Saturday afternoon.
It says the motorcyclist, David Taylor, suffered a pelvis injury and was taken to hospital for treatment.
The SIU says it has assigned three investigators, two forensic investigators and a collision reconstructionist to the case.
The SIU is an arm's-length agency that investigates whenever there are reports of death, serious injury or alleged sexual assault involving police.
