Mathieu Foget and Owen Tippett scored shootout goals as the Mississauga Steelheads snapped the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds' 23-game win streak with a 4-3 victory Thursday night in the Ontario Hockey League.

Tippet also had three goals in regulation for Mississauga (16-22-1) while Jacob Ingham stopped 31 shots.

Noah Carroll, Keeghan Howdeshell and Morgan Frost scored in regulation for Sault Ste. Marie (32-3-3), which couldn't convert either of its two shootout attempts into goals. Tyler Johnson and Matthew Villalta combined to make 25 saves in goal.

Ice Dogs 6 Storm 3

At St. Catharines, Ont., Danial Singer scored twice as Niagara (20-11-5) earned its fifth straight win. Kirill Maksimonov, Oliver Castleman, William Lochead and Akil Thomas had the other goals. Dmitri Samorukov, Liam Hawel and James McEwan replied for Guleph (18-15-4).

Generals 6 Battalion 5 (SO)

At North Bay, Ont., Matt Brassard and Kyle MacLean scored shootout goals to lead Oshawa (18-17-2). Domenico Commissio had a goal and two assists in regulation for the Generals. Luke Burghart had two goals and an assist for the Battalion (13-19-5) with Justin Brazeau scoring in the shootout.

At Peterborough, Ont., Jake Smith's goal in the second period proved to be the winner for Windsor (20-13-3). Curtis Douglas had the other. Cole Fraser replied for Peterborough (16-20-3), which held a 33-26 edge in shots on goal in the contest.

Knights 5 Colts 3

At Barrie, Ont., Sam Miletic and Alec Regula had a goal and two assists apiece to lead London (21-14-3) to the win. Richard Whitaker, Shane Collins and Cole Tymkin also scored. Andrei Svechnikov, Jaden Peca and TJ Fergus replied for the Colts (23-12-3).
