Police say the death of a man whose body was found in a Toronto home this week has been deemed a homicide.
Investigators say they were called to a home (in the Davenport and Old Weston roads area) Thursday afternoon and found the victim with severe head injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
They say an autopsy determined the 47-year-old man of no fixed address died from multiple blunt-force trauma injuries. His name has not been released.
Police say they are seeking a suspect, 46-year-old Anthony Brake, on a second-degree murder charge.
In a news conference Saturday, Det. Robert North said the two men had known each other for "an extended period of time."
He said police believe Brake lives in the home where the man was found.
