Toronto FC midfielder Armando Cooper has been suspended one game and fined an undisclosed amount for violent conduct in the 90th minute of Toronto's 3-3 tie with the New York Red Bulls on Sunday.
The MLS disciplinary committee sanctioned the 28-year-old Panamanian for a sly kick at Felipe as the Red Bulls' Brazilian midfielder lay on the ground after being fouled.
Cooper will miss Toronto's home match Saturday against the Philadelphia Union.
