A Toronto man is facing several charges in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a 12-year-old girl.
Police say the girl was in her home in the city's east end (in the Morningside Avenue and Ellesmere Road area) on Wednesday when she answered a knock on the door.
It's alleged that when the girl answered the door, a man entered the home and sexually assaulted her.
Sivakumar Sivagnanam, 63, is charged with two counts each of sexual assault, being unlawfully in a dwelling and sexual interference.
He's also charged with one count of forcible confinement.
