Police say two teens are in hospital after being thrown from the bed of a pickup truck that rolled over in Port Dover.

OPP say a 2001 Ford pickup truck went into the ditch around 9 p.m. Saturday and rolled over several times, ejecting a boy and girl who were riding in the open box.

They say both sustained serious injuries and are currently listed in stable condition in a Hamilton hospital.

Police say four girls between 15 and 17 years old riding in the truck's cab and the 17-year-old male driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

OPP say Marburg Road was closed for several hours for an investigation and cleanup.
