Police in Toronto say a 47-year-old Woodstock, Ont., man is facing multiple charges following an investigation into an alleged fake osteopath.

Police allege a man operating a business named The Osteopath in Toronto falsely identified himself as a certified and registered osteopath.

Investigators allege he treated patients, charged them for his services and provided a false registration number for insurance.

George Workman faces charges that include fraud under $5,000, false pretences, and uttering forged documents.
