A jewelry store in a shopping centre in a Montreal suburb has been robbed again — for the third time in five years.

The latest robbery at the Birks outlet in the Fairview Mall in suburban Pointe-Claire took place Wednesday evening.

Montreal police say two men, wearing hoodies, stole several pieces of jewelry before fleeing.

One of the suspects pepper-sprayed a security guard, while the other smashed a display case.

The store was robbed in November 2014 by four masked suspects who pepper-sprayed employees. It was also a target in 2010.
