Francois Beauchemin scored and added three assists in Val-d'Or Foreurs' 10-5 rout of the Sherbrooke Phoenix on Tuesday night in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.
Alexis Pepin struck twice for Val-d'Or (12-11-2), while Olivier Galipeau and Julien Gauthier had a goal and two assists each. Gauthier's proved to be the eventual winner. Adam Cheezo, Ivan Kozlov, Adam Marsh, Jason Bell and Simon Lafrance chipped in as well.
Edouard Michaud, Yaroslav Alexeyev, Carl Neill, Anderson MacDonald and Thomas Gregoire responded for Sherbrooke (9-11-3).
Dereck Baribeau made 37 saves for the win in net for the Foreurs.
Evan Fitzpatrick stopped 13-of-18 shots in the first period for the Phoenix. He was replaced by Justin Blanchette, who turned aside 8-of-13 shots, and took the loss.
Val-d'Or scored on all three of its power plays and Sherbrooke went 2 for 6 with the man advantage.

BATHURST, N.B. — Bradley Kennedy had the winner at the 16:35 mark of the third period and Keigan Goetz added some insurance with an empty-net goal as Halifax skated past Acadie-Bathurst.
Maxime Fortier struck twice for the Mooseheads (13-11-0), while Otto Somppi also found the back of the net.
Antoine Morand, Daniil Miromanov and Christophe Boivin supplied the offence for the Titan (10-12-2).

BAIE-COMEAU, Que. — Simon Chevrier, Jordan Martel and Ivan Chekhovich all scored in the third period as the Drakkar sank Drummondville.
Vincent Deslauriers had a short-handed goal for Baie-Comeau (7-12-3) in the first period.
Samuel Gaumond and Benjamin Gagne gave the Voltigeurs (10-12-2) a 2-1 lead by the 11:14 mark of the second period before the Drakkar reeled off three unanswered goals.
