Saskatoon police say photos have led to criminal charges against a 30-year-old man.

Police say they got a report of a man on a bike who allegedly threatened two people in a vehicle with a knife.

It's alleged to have happened after a cyclict crossed in front of a vehicle near Avenue C North.

The man parked his bicycle a short distance away, then approached the vehicle allegedly waving a knife and threatening to harm the driver.

The people in the vehicle went to police headquarters to file a report, including photos of the suspect taken on a cellphone.

Police say the photos helped them find the man, who was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon and carrying a concealed weapon.
