A 15-year-old boy is recovering in hospital after a shooting in Saskatoon's Exhibition neighbourhood.

Officers found the boy suffering from they believed to be a gunshot wound on St. Charles Avenue near Hilliard Street on 3 p.m. Thursday.

Police say the teen was taken to Royal University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers are now interviewing possible witnesses and investigators are also pursuing other leads, including a collection of surveillance video from the area.
