Several customers are said to be affected after a privacy breach involving SGI.
The Crown said an employee at an independent driver's licence-issuing office in Vonda, Sask., northeast of Saskatoon, was caught snooping on its computer system.
SGI said the employee looked up information on several customers without a legitimate business reason.
That information included pictures, email addresses and mailing addresses, though no medical information or driver records were accessed.
SGI doesn't believe any harm has or will come to the affected customers, who are being contacted about the breach.
The Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner has been notified as well.
The individual's access to SGI's computer system is now cut off.
