Two former University of Saskatchewan Huskie football players have been sentenced for seriously injuring two people in an attack that was posted on YouTube.
Darren Hinds, who is 28, and Darcy Hinds, who is 25, pleaded guilty Wednesday to aggravated assault in Saskatoon Provincial Court.
The two, who are from Sherwood Park, Alta., turned themselves into police after a video surfaced on YouTube showing the brothers attacking two people on a Saskatoon street on Nov. 25.
The two victims, aged 32 and 43, were left with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.
The Hinds brothers were each sentenced to one year in jail.
