A five-year-old girl is the only survivor from a car that police say was hit by a Jeep near Saskatoon.
RCMP say the girl was in a Hyundai Elantra with a man, a woman and a two-year-old boy early Sunday on Highway 11 when it was stuck by a Jeep Wrangler that was attempting to cross the highway.
The 34-year-old man who was driving the Hyundai and the 33-year-old woman who was a passenger both died at the scene.
The boy and girl were both taken to hospital with serious injuries, but the boy has since died.
A 49-year-old woman, who was the only person in the Jeep, was taken to hospital and released but remains in custody.
Police say charges are pending.
