Charges have been laid against a 60-year-old man after police were called to an intersection in downtown Moose Jaw on Sunday for reports of a person waving a weapon that turned out to be a BB gun.
Jack Raymond Keewatin is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday on various firearms charges.
The incident happened Sunday afternoon at the intersection of Main Street North and Manitoba Street.
Police allege a suspect started out waving the weapon, which resembled a handgun, at members of the public but then pointed it at police.
No one was injured but police say the incident caused a three-car accident as people tried to get out of the intersection.
