A 50-year-old man from Ontario has been killed in a hit-and-run in Regina.

Police say he was a pedestrian and was hit by a car just after 8 a.m. Tuesday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shortly after the crash, police seized an abandoned truck a block and a half from the scene.

Police say the truck, which they believe was stolen, may be the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run.
