Police are investigating after a newborn baby was found dead in a back yard of a home in north-central Regina.
Regina police say the remains of a male infant was found on Nov. 7 around 3:30 p.m.
They say it appeared the baby was a newborn.
Police have identified the mother of the infant and say there is no risk to public safety.
Officials have given no other details.
