Police are investigating the death of a 14-year-old boy pulled from a creek in Regina's east end.

A caller told police that a boy had possibly died at the creek near Victoria Avenue and Prince of Wales Drive at about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday.

A witness says someone was doing CPR on a boy before he was taken away by ambulance.

EMS tried to revive him and took him to hospital, but he was pronounced dead at around 1:30 p.m.

His family has been notified.
