RCMP say the driver of an SUV is dead after colliding with a truck hauling 27 horses on the Trans-Canada Highway east of Regina.
Following the crash near Balgonie the truck was on its side and the SUV was upside down.
The horses were slowly freed from the truck, but people on the scene doubted that they would all survive.
The man driving the SUV was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man driving the truck wasn't hurt. (CJME)
