Two men have been found dead in a northern Saskatchewan lake.

RCMP say the bodies were found Monday near Pinehouse, a village about 350 km north of Prince Albert.

Police say the men left the community last week on a quad ATV to go hunting and fishing.

Investigators say they have not located the ATV, but believe it is in Pinehouse Lake, which is partly covered in ice.

RCMP do not believe the deaths are suspicious and autopsies are to take place this week.

No names have been released.
