Police in Regina say they are working with the chief coroner to investigate the death of a 14-year-old boy found in a creek.

They say they received a call Wednesday afternoon reporting that a youth had been found in the water.

Emergency responders tried to revive him and transported him to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police say the teen has been identified and his family has been notified.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about what happened to contact the Regina Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
