RCMP have issued a plea to the public for helping in solving the death of a woman found in a burned-out shed east of Redvers, Sask., five years ago.

The shed fire happened on an acreage on July 28, 2010, and Mounties say it is now being considered suspicious.

The Redvers Fire Department was able to extinguish the flames but when firefighters entered the shed, they found the woman's body.

RCMP aren't releasing the woman's name or saying exactly how she died, but they're hoping to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the blaze.

Mounties have identified the victim as a 40-year-old woman from the Rural Municipality of Antler.

Investigators are now hoping to speak with anyone who may have travelled along Highway 13 that day between 7 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. CT or anyone who may have taken photos or video of the fire.
