A teenage boy will have a lot of explaining to do to his mom after police say he was clocked going 90 km/h over the speed limit in her car.
The Saskatoon Police Traffic Unit sent out a tweet Tuesday morning noting an officer tracked the 16-year-old boy going 153 km/h in a 60 km/h zone.
The teenager was given a $717 speeding ticket, and his mom's car was impounded for seven days.
Meanwhile, Weyburn RCMP caught another speedster late last week on Highway 39.
Mounties said a four-door Jeep Wrangler was doing 168 km/h, which earned the driver a $492 ticket.
The Jeep was seized on the spot and impounded for seven days.
