Police are looking for a woman who claims in a video that she is responsible for the delivery of several suspicious packages in Saskatoon.
The video was sent to several individuals and select media and was accompanied by emails claiming Alexa Emerson's innocence.
Emerson, also known as Amanda Totchek, turned herself in to police this week and faces 54 charges that include mischief, uttering threats and identity theft.
Investigators say they do not believe the woman in the video is responsible for any criminal activity, but may have information about the case.
Police are hoping the public can help identify her.
Eight packages containing a white powder that was found not to be dangerous were sent to several businesses, a cancer centre and a school this month and last.
CTV Saskatoon has received five of the emails. Their sender, claiming to be the woman in the video, writes that she and another woman sent packages and letters — some of which contained talcum powder and baking soda — around Saskatoon.
"She did it to get back at Alexa Emerson," one email reads, before the sender threatens to deliver more packages.
"I will send this out and letters everyday until you find me."
Emerson's bail hearing is set for May 9.
