The search for a 12-year-old Saskatchewan boy who disappeared while swimming at a recreation site in southeastern Saskatchewan is over.

Mounties say the Estevan boy was found dead Monday about 30 metres off shore at the Woodlawn Regional Park.

The boy had been reported to have gone under the water in the same area on Sunday.

Mounties have not released the child's name.
